After a recent trip I’ve decided to buy a wetsuit. I went on a scuba diving adventure and have become taken up with it. I totally enjoy the feeling of being in the water with the fish. I’m still a bit nervous about the sharks but that will only be mastered with experience.

I’m partial to going a xterra wetsuit . They came highly recommended by the teacher and the guides on the travels I went on. Come to think of it that was the most common wetsuit worn from what I can remember. There must be something to them.

I hear there are wetsuits containing merino wool and titanium threads. These suits are meant to help retain more body heat. I understand that wool is great at keeping you warm even when wet but I am skeptical about the validity of using titanium. I imagine they are also are also more expensive than a plain neoprene wetsuit. I truly dig the thought of the extra heat. Not being to good with the cold every bit of warmth counts.

So my quest begins to find cheap wetsuits at a wetsuit outlet. The thing is to work out what size is going to be the right fit. I’d hate to get one and then find out that it rubs me raw at 100 meters. Now that would be a bad thing. I guess that there is only so much you can decide before hand and the surest way to test is to get 1 and get diving.
